Bali Holidays from Dubai
Bali divides naturally into two halves of a trip. Ubud, inland, is the cultural centre — rice terraces, craft villages, river gorges and temples, with a slower pace and cooler evenings.
The south and west coasts are where the beaches and the sunsets are, from the surf breaks at Uluwatu to the beach clubs of Seminyak and Canggu. Most itineraries split time between the two, with day trips to Nusa Penida or the eastern water palaces.
Highlights
- Tegallalang rice terraces and the Ubud craft villages
- Tirta Empul and the royal water temple at Tirta Gangga
- Uluwatu Temple at sunset with a Kecak fire dance
- Tanah Lot, set on a rock offshore
- A day trip to Nusa Penida for Kelingking and Broken Beach
- Mount Batur at sunrise, for those who want the early start

Best time to visit
The dry season from roughly May to September brings the most reliable weather and the best diving visibility. The wet season is warm with heavy but usually short afternoon downpours, fewer crowds and lower rates. Bali is a year-round destination.
