Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, amendments and refunds work on bookings made through Travel Gate Tourism.
1. Requests Dubai-based team
Sending a booking request does not create a booking and does not commit you to anything. Until you have approved the written confirmation and made payment, you may withdraw the request at any time at no cost.
2. Confirmed bookings
Once a booking has been paid for and confirmed, the cancellation and amendment terms are those of the operator, venue or supplier providing the experience. These vary considerably — some allow free cancellation up to a set point before the start time, others are non-refundable from the moment of confirmation.
The terms that apply to your specific booking are set out in the written confirmation you receive Dubai-based team. Please read them at that stage rather than after.
3. Amendments
Where an operator permits a change of date, time or participant details, we will request it on your behalf. Changes cannot be guaranteed and may attract a fee or a fare difference set by the supplier.
4. Cancellation by the operator
Experiences may be cancelled by the operator for reasons including weather, safety, minimum numbers or maintenance. Where this happens we will offer an alternative date, an alternative experience, or a refund of amounts recoverable from the supplier.
5. No-shows and late arrival
Arriving after a scheduled departure or entry window is generally treated as a no-show by operators and is usually non-refundable. If you are running late, contact us as soon as you can and we will do what we can with the operator.
6. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control. Any supplier fees or non-recoverable charges are deducted and itemised.
7. Visa services
Government and immigration fees are paid to the relevant authority and are not refundable once an application has been submitted, regardless of outcome. Service fees are treated separately, and the position is confirmed to you in writing before submission.
If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay rather than after. We would rather explain it twice.
